Notes: The first chapter was originally written for the MPTT Yule Exchange as a pinch-hit for red_lasbelin for the following prompt: Gildor as a main character with any or all of these prompts: spice, miscommunication and gold.
The first part has been rewritten and extended, and replaces the first, shorter, version. The second part is a prompt fill for B2MeM 2018, Initial prompts, no. 3. More parts might follow at a later date. Both parts can be read as stand-alones.
