Wow I loved this so much. It's an interesting look at late 3rd age Numenor, and their methods of warfare. I also love how you incorporated footnotes, I enjoy them very much.

This is SO interesting. By turns scholarly, spooky, and, not a few times, amusing. In awe of how you handled so many layers of story - vision within tale within testimony within transcription within correspondence. *mind exploding*. 

Always a pleasure to read when the Philosophers make an appearance in a fic. Nimruzimir's foresight visions contain some very important points, if only they could be interpreted and articulated. Like Erestor, I wonder whether Nimruzimir developed the antidote for the Dunlendings.
