Finrod stepped into the warm kitchen, having been told that the halflings were making piles of gold coins, and found Frodo and Bilbo laughing together as one measured out flour and the other was busy grating cheese. “What’s this I hear about your dragon’s hoard, Master Baggins?” Finrod asked. 

“It’s an old family recipe, but I changed the name after my adventure,” Bilbo said cheerfully. He turned away to take a tray out of the oven, full of rich-smelling golden-brown crackers. “These are much nicer than any real gold coins.”

Finrod bit into one and had to agree.
