Glad you like my thoughts about sunlight. I can just imagine those poor people in the first few days or maybe even weeks while they're getting used to the sunlight stepping high over shadows and stumbling into brightly things. It's not only their eyes that would need to adjust, but their brains.

Mine was referenced from a willow tree in Lake Wānaka in New Zealand which I saw in 2009, although the weather was not very photogenic so I didn't get the nice photo of it that I would have liked.
Those thoughts on the changes the sun would have brought to Sindar life are fascinating! It's not something I've thought too much about before, but it makes a lot of sense that it could be dangerous. And I love all the textures in the painting, from the sharply defined branches to the mountains fading into the mist - it really makes it feel alive!
(And presuming I understood the clue about the SWG's art editor correctly, would you happen to have a Scavenger Hunt prompt for me?)
