About Me
I thoroughly enjoyed the Lord of the Rings (read the books after seeing the first movie) but the Silmarillion has really captured my heart. Am partial to the Fëanorians, especially Curufin and Celebrimbor.
I am very new to writing fic but in 2002 I began roleplaying in the insanity that was the Middle-earth Sock Puppet Theatre (MESPT). My Curufin drabbles have been an attempt at exploring that puppet and thus may at times appear to be more of an AU character than one from Silmarillion canon.
Am just now digging in to the Histories of Middle-earth, and must admit to the occasional bouts of frustration and confusion. What does one do about conflicting or disparate histories for a character? Just pick whatever works for the story one wants to tell? So I'm learning as I go--you've been forewarned, heh.
