Heh! I suspect there was no need for further wagering - after this, Maglor had kind of acquired a taste for it. Or maybe after Sir Gawain was (of course! ;)) a huge success at Harry Hotspur's christmas bash, Maglor just got commissioned further works... (that'd explain some of the odd subjects, at least ;))

Thank you so much! And yes, "who else but Maglor" was exactly my thought after reading yet another secondary work that praised the genius of the Gawain-poet to the heavens... (This story was written while I should have been writing a paper on Sir Gawain. *shifty eyes*)
