It's just possible that the story only appeals to fans of your interpretation of this couple but I don't think those are all that rare!

I'm very fond of your Ecthelion, as much as of your Glorfindel. He can be a bit trying on occasions but he keeps trying so hard to do the right thing, even if he's often a bit confused about what that is.
