About Me

I have been a Tolkin-fan since eraly childhood: Giving in to my incessant request to be read from that curiously looking book she was reading, my mom read to my the story of how the Hobbits come to Tom Bombadil's and Goldberry's house. Minus the Old Man Willow and the Dwarrow Downs until I was much older.

I wanted to be Goldberry then.

Later, I wanted to be just any Elf and since there are so few Elven women, I made them up. Nitheliniel is just one of them, created for a Tolkien-based rpg.

The Silmarillion I read much later and struggled through. Determined to love it, I struggled though more then once and succeeded in loving it and the characters within (With the exception of Turin who is just one of those heroes I fail to understand. - The story is still great, though painful.).

I am a member of the German Tolkien Society.
