Ore (Heart)

On the Great Dwarven Road, danger threatened my enterprise: a new competitor, a trader with a mind for subtle shifts of currency exchange rates, one who could squeeze profit from a stone. Rivalry bred respect; respect turned into appreciation, which matured into the intoxicating feeling of being seen, and known, and understood.

Everyone treated my new Dwarven bride with courtesy, and then gossiped about the depths I will sink to for my business–but, oh, how we laughed behind their backs, our love secure as a galvorn-backed investment.
