New Challenge: Title Track
Tolkien's titles range from epic to lyrical to metaphorical. This month's challenge selected 125 of them as prompts for fanworks.

On the autumn equinox the first men to arrive in Beleriand dance and sing to remember how and why they fled over the mountains. On the night of masks, a young Beren is dragged before the throne.
Companion piece to The Brides of Death.

The story of the fifth companion of Finrod and Beren to die in the dungeons of Tol-in-Gaurhoth.

Luthien rides in search of Beren.
I am finally cross-posting my B2MeM stories

A song that could have been sung by anyone after the first rising of the Sun, really-- but maybe particularly by Beren himself, from whose song this piece is adapted, or by Aragorn, since he seems to have liked the Lay of Leithian, from which Beren's song is taken?

Lúthien is not the first Elf to discover Beren wandering the forest.

So, Curufin, son of Feanor, is conveniently walking around with a dwarf-made knife at his waist that just happens to be suitable for cutting a Silmaril out of Morgoth's iron crown and he just happens to give Beren enough provocation to rob him of his possessions, including the knife.
Here is a slightly AU gapfiller on the subject of the early history of Angrist, the knife that would cleave iron as if it were green wood.

The story of the first companion of Finrod and Beren to die in the dungeons of Tol-in-Gaurhoth.

The Great Wolf of Angband leaps, and Thingol thinks of family.

A place to store drabbles and ficlets, mostly written for various prompts.

This is just a little oneshot that I posted on FFn last Christmas. It follows Omega directly.

Lúthien lives with Beren as an immortal until his time runs out. Someone's been waiting, of course, and is there to catch her when she starts falling apart. Or when she gets into fights with Orcs.
(AU: Beren didn't die, meaning there was no trip to Mandos, meaning Lúthien is still immortal.)
For the International Day of Femslash.

Lúthien and Beren, their first springtime. Written for B2MeM 2014.

C'est jour de fête à Himring... (Ficlet, Beren/Luthien, Maedhros/Fingon) Version française + traduction en anglais.

#5: Aredhel, trapped in Gondolin.
A collection of fixed-length fic(let)s, each based on a line (or lines) of a poem/play.

Tells the story of the rise and fall of the two dark lords, from the collapse of the fortress in Tol-in-Gaurhoth, to the collapse of Barad-dûr, and what came next. Mainly told from Melkor and Sauron's perspective. Continuation of my other fic: "The Burnt God", though it may be read separately. Occasional slash (mainly Melkor x Sauron)

These five short vignettes are AUs that might have been canon. Each of them takes an idea that was conceived and then abandoned by Tolkien, and builds a brief scene on it.

Beren gives Luthien the necklase of Doriath to wear bearing the Silmaril.

How alike are Arwen and her famous foremother?

These are my responses in graphic format to B2MeM 2013 prompts.
If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber'd here
While these visions did appear.
--Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream

Doom falls on Tinúviel, and it is at least as earthbound as ethereal.

50 Prompts resulting in 50 AU Silmarillion based or related drabbles or ficlets.

A collection of Elleth's 2012 B2MeM Bingo fics. Individual summaries (and warnings, if necessary) are provided in the chapter notes.

Very short pieces set in Beleriand or Valinor, some of which are slightly experimental.
Now added: Shadowy Cloak (Beren and Luthien, after the fall of Tol-in-Gaurhoth)
