Dusk Gathers Her Skirt Hems (Theme Song)

I realized that in the story, I was so focused on the dancers and the dancing that I said nothing about the music.
Here is a theme song that may suggest or hint what it could have sounded like.
I went back to the original poetry prompt for more imagery to write it.

Do you see Dusk

dragging her skirt across the wheat fields

to follow the Sun into the Sea?

While I yet remain, as the shadows deepen

in the beloved land, the Star-Wards Country,

do not forget or reject past friendship,

our old custom, kindness of many years,

as the sun sinks, trailing frayed ribbons of light!

You who used to give freely,

do not withhold the last draught from the cup!

Breathe, again, the scent of the hawthorn,

as the thrush sings—

drink parting in Yozayan at nightfall,

as Dusk gathers her skirt hems

up from the western edge of the fields

and the whale-grey waves darken.

Chapter End Notes

The idea is that there are thematic links with the political situation (Numenor as a setting, hints of old age or impending death and of potential conflict between an established couple), but they are so vague as to be completely and plausibly deniable.
