New Challenge: Title Track
Tolkien's titles range from epic to lyrical to metaphorical. This month's challenge selected 125 of them as prompts for fanworks.

Three border guards have an unexpected encounter on the North-marches of Nargothrond.

Wherever Túrin goes, emotional turmoil is sure to follow. The marches of Doriath are no exception.

Tells the story of the rise and fall of the two dark lords, from the collapse of the fortress in Tol-in-Gaurhoth, to the collapse of Barad-dûr, and what came next. Mainly told from Melkor and Sauron's perspective. Continuation of my other fic: "The Burnt God", though it may be read separately. Occasional slash (mainly Melkor x Sauron)

Wounded and suffering from battle fatigue, Mablung sees a strange portent that causes him to fear that his beloved friend Beleg's affection for Túrin, the self-exiled young warrior, could bring grief to them all.
Written for Tehta in My Slashy Valentine fic swap 2013

These wild and brief days set true hearts bleeding. Túrin and Beleg, over time.
Written for Porn Battle XIV, with the prompts: worship, observance, steam.

Elrond tells the story of Hurin's life, after his release from Angbad.
His audience are Valandil, sent from Arnor, and Gandalf, who has arrived from the West at the beginning of the Third Age.

“Don’t trust any talking something if you don’t know where it keeps its mind.” – But Harry had indeed been more Gryffindorish than most . . . . Routing around his family vault after the victory against Voldemort, he found a talking metal shard and chatted with it. He got too cozy, in fact, that he did not realise where the sneaky shard was bringing him. And in another place and another era, Túrin son of Húrin got harassed mercilessly by a particular green-eyed, black-hired young man.

The life of the last High King of the Noldor.

It's especially sad when a doomed man has a sense of humor.

A series of drabbles about the child Túrin, and his friend the lame woodwright, Sador Labadal. I have long been fascinated by their friendship. Why would a noble child's best friend be a crippled servant?

It has been said that character is fate, and this certainly holds true for Beleg, whose single-minded focus leads him straight to his Doom.

Out in the woods, young Túrin makes a new friend - and learns not to fear thunderstorms.
Written for Elleth - Happy Birthday!

Love, no matter how wicked, always finds a way.
A slightly strange something I wrote for Jan/Feb's ALEC 'Forbidden Love' theme.

Written for Theatrical Muse. The famed Dragon Helm of Dor-Lomin comes into Maedhros's posession. And he can't wait to get rid of it.

Three poems that tell of the tragic story of Gwindor, Finduilas, and Túrin, from three points of view.

What if Feanor's accusations to the Valar were correct?
What if everything you hoped for was a lie?
Valinor is not the paradise expected to be; Earendil's star has fallen - is it the beginning of Dagor Dagorath?
In Sylvanlight the stories of the Silmarillion are turned over and inside out, mysteries and dark intent surfacing if one simple fact is truth.

Written for B2Me Prompt 2: "What is the most tedious, routine work that you have to do?" Túrin gets a really long and tedious job!

Drabble (or, more accurately, a drabble and a half - 150 words) written for Elfscribe, who asked for Beleg and Túrin. Follows in the same universe as my story "Will Overruled by Fate."

Haldir meets Beleg in Valinor and each comes to terms with his past. Slash. (Warning: Could conceivably be called a LotR/Silmarillion crossover, although it is primarily based upon The Silmarillion.) Written in response to a request by Kenaz for the Ardor in August 2008 fic swap: “ . . . an encounter between an Elf recently released from the Halls of Mandos and an Elf who has recently come to Valinor from Middle-earth. . . . struggling to acclimate themselves to a new place and time, and trying to relate to each other . . . . love to see Haldir meet Beleg.” Betas: Pandemonium, IgnobleBard and Lissa

The death of Beleg Cuthalion.
