About Me

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, or SOx Act, was passed in 2002 in the United States with the intent to reform accounting standards and practices in order to renew public trust in financial reporting and corporate governance. It also serves to remind accountants of the time they almost messed up capitalism.

Rest in pieces, Arthur Andersen.
