Want to do something kind for your fellow fans? Each Wednesday is Wishlist Wednesday--a day we encourage you to work on making someone’s wish come true! (Remember, however, you can work on any prompt any day. If you want to fill a wish on a non-Wednesday, go for it!)
Anyone can submit up to three wishes. While we encourage you to also try to fill wishes for other people, you are not required to fill a wish in order to submit wishes. In addition, this is not a ficswap. While we hope that everyone who submits wishes has at least one wish filled, we cannot guarantee that your wishes will be filled, even if you fill wishes for others.
What can you wish for? Anything related to Tolkien fandom and fanworks! Would you love a sketch of one of your OCs? A story about your favorite pairing? Comments on your fanworks? A playlist or rec list for your favorite character? Whatever you can dream, make a wish!
When Filling Wishes ...
Fanworks should be rated no higher than Teens (see our ratings guide) and contain no NSFW/Adult-rated content unless the wish specifies that is what the person wants to receive. Do not include kinks that are not included in the wish.
Let someone know if you've filled a wish! You can contact the person directly using the link on their wishlist or by clicking the next to their name in the list. If you're feeling shy, let the mods know you've filled a wish, and we'll contact the recipient for you. There is a stamp for filling a wishlist request; let the mods know if you've filled a wishlist request and need this stamp.
