New Challenge: Title Track
Tolkien's titles range from epic to lyrical to metaphorical. This month's challenge selected 125 of them as prompts for fanworks.

Long ago in Valinor, Finrod and Celegorm faced opposing expectations, one a symbol of Eldarin potential and the other abandoned to a life of leisure, and neither fully certain of his place among the Noldor. Now, after the Dagor Bragollach, their fates collide when Celegorm and Curufin, fleeing the destruction of their realm, take harbor in Nargothrond. As both work to mend the myriad hurts between their houses, each discovers a secret about the other and, most surprising of all, the desire that grows between them. But as each of their oaths begin to call, their growing love might not survive the inevitability of their fates. Written for Urloth for Sultry in September 2013.

Tells the story of the rise and fall of the two dark lords, from the collapse of the fortress in Tol-in-Gaurhoth, to the collapse of Barad-dûr, and what came next. Mainly told from Melkor and Sauron's perspective. Continuation of my other fic: "The Burnt God", though it may be read separately. Occasional slash (mainly Melkor x Sauron)

A collection of unrelated drabbles and ficlets too short to post on their own. Each story has a separate rating and all are under a thousand words.
Newest story: Chapter 48: Aulë, Finarfin, and Maglor's ignored return to Aman. Crackfic. Rated General. Ficlet.

Just a scrap of not much of anything. For a Femslash Friday submission. Not very slashy even under a microscope. But if I say it is, it is. The requirements are actually flexible. Women liking women is sufficient. (Birthday girl, Zeen, I hope you do not think I am a cheapskate for doubling up a ficlet for you into a challenge entry!)

Thirty-one drabbles, each from the point of view of a different member of the House of Finwë

Finrod Felagund is rather more hopeful than his sister Galadriel.
A re-mix of Galadriel's Namarie (the English version), supposed to be spoken by Finrod.
It is up to the reader to decide who he is addressing.

Here lies ficlets, meme responses, and things that are too short to post on their own.
Update: A young Gil-galad meets some of his kin.

Finrod and his werewolf

In Valinor, the effects of the rebellion are still very visible to the Noldor. Nerdanel and Aredhel are unwelcome in the city, both as reminders of the past, and as the two who flaunt the rules on fidelity.

At the Mereth Aderthad, Finrod and Maglor meet for a long-overdue discussion.

A mosaic of memories of the Elder Days

Why did Glorfindel return to Middle-earth? Maybe the Valar decided they needed a messenger. Maybe he felt he still had something to do there and begged them to let him return. Or maybe it went something like this...
It's the early Second Age and Idril is worried about her grandsons. In the course of this she waylays new arrivals to Valinor, tries to find her footing with her own grandmother, schemes with Tuor, Finrod and Glorfindel, and finally sets a plan into motion.

In her youth, Amarië of the Vanyar was an idealistic and gifted poet, a rising star among the Vanyar. Many thousands of years later, having weathered unimaginable loss, Amarië is called to Lórien to witness the awakening of her once-beloved and newly reembodied Finrod. For B2MeM 2013, Day One, archetype and loss of innocence.

Fourth Age. Galadriel has returned to Aman without her husband, and Finrod would like to know why.

Finrod returns to Nargothrond. Curufin readjusts.

Finrod longs to tell his absent love everything, including all he has learned of Men.

Nargothrond, afterwards. Curufin receives an unexpected visitor.

A series for those of you who have always wondered how a people known to argue about things like TH vs. S pronounciation came to be known for gems like “Go not to the elves for counsel, for they will say both yes and no".
Basically, this is a saga about officious Noldorin lords, their meddling in human affairs and its unexpected results...

"Sire….please! You came for the boats but… but can you sail them?"
At Alqualondë the Noldor found that there were unexpected helping hands waiting for them. Hands that trimmed the sails, manned the rudder and guided ill-gotten swan-ships to the Twilight Lands.

In the wake of Alqualondë and Finarfin's departure, Fëanor shores up power and Finrod must prove his loyalty.

It's Curufin's game but Finrod plays to win.
