This is my new poetical attempt to add my own interpretation to Tolkien's Cosmology as to Eru's Creation and the Valar's minds and behind-the-scene providence reasons and mechanisms.. I often review Eä as part of our own world, just in another dimension, this is why I have always seriously thought on the matter who the Ainur are, who Eru is, how he matches our own religious pantheon, and this has been conducted after serious research of many esoteric teachings of our own planet's heritage.

“Can I ask you a question?” Her voice was jarringly loud.
“Of course,” Nóm replied. He didn’t look worried. He thought this was one of her philosophical quandaries. Well, it was one in a roundabout kind of– never mind that, she was probably about to ruin his morning. Both of their mornings.

All Melkor wants to do is turn everyone against each other. Why is it so hard?

“Then,” Frodo said, “if I were able to, I should be thanking him. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for those Rings. And—well, Sam said once recently that we’re really all just part of the same story as the one about you and your brothers, and Beren and Lúthien, and Eärendil, and all the rest. I’ve got this star-glass that Lady Galadriel made for me, and it’s got the light of Eärendil’s star in it, which is the light of the Silmaril that your father made, isn’t it? And Sam and I never would have made it without this glass—so I’ve got Lady Galadriel and Eärendil and Fëanor to thank too."

A poem of a stone from the ruins of Hollin. Inspired by the prompt "The Hills Are Old".

In the aftermath of the Dagor Bragollach, an elf searches for survivors amongst the ruins of a town. The horrors he sees make him struggle to find hope in an ever-darkening world.

Eärendil does not remember Gondolin. As he grows up, he tries to reconstruct it through the stories of those who once lived there; yet every memory is different, shaped by the grief of those who lost it. Thus the city becomes a constellation of versions that can never truly be held together.

Written for the Title Track challenge with the prompt “Fall of Gondolin.

Eärendil non ricorda Gondolin. Crescendo cerca di ricostruirla attraverso i racconti di coloro che vi dimorarono; ma ogni memoria è diversa, segnata dal dolore di chi l’ha perduta. Così la città diventa una costellazione di versioni impossibili da tenere insieme.

Gimli sipped at his tea. “Knowledge, Master Elrond, for your library is known far and wide for its vast collection of works dating to the the time before Sun and Moon, and all that came after.” Gimli smiled. “Alas, I seek even older knowledge.”

In the heart of a dark forest, Fingon finds two children who should not be there.

Just because something is secret in Beleriand doesn't meant it isn't known in Aman. 

Voronwë, suffering from sea-longing, shows Eärendil a strange object he found at sea.

She had considered, for a brief while, volunteering to take her mother’s place. To run and hide the two of them away on the coast, well away from the dangers of the north. But her brother deserved better than that. If he could not have both parents, then he should at least have one, and not just an older sister who knew nothing of raising children. And besides, her father needed her here. She was still his heir apparent. The first resort and line of defense. It was her who had the training and the knowledge to lead their people if anything should happen to their lord, and the lineage to reinforce her claim. But something deep in her chest, sitting somewhere behind her still-beating heart, went sharp at the thought. If she did take her father’s place, she feared it would not be for long.

Sighing, she lifted her baby brother up and kissed his forehead. His skin was still soft, the way that infants’ was. This might be the last time she would ever see him.

What a burden to place on the shoulders of a child who was only just seeing his first winter

Araglas inherits the chieftainship of the Dunedain of Arnor upon his father's death. But Araglas has been living in Rivendell all this while. Meanwhile, his second cousin Arthiel has been acting as his father's right hand in the Angle.

Araglas comes up with a plan that stuns Arthiel and her lover.

Aegnor cut him off, eyes blazing in self-defense as he slipped into the half-forbidden tongue of their mother’s people. “I did not know that you knew each other when—”

“That does not matter!” Finrod said, also dropping Sindarin in favor of Telerin. It was easier to argue in the language of their childhood rather than diplomacy. Besides, it afforded them some privacy. “It shouldn’t matter whether she knew me or not! You should not have done this!”

or: Aegnor panics, makes a decision, and goes to his oldest brother for validation. It does not end well.

The halls were not so unlike his own

A sound came, then, that was not sleet or wind or the heavy breathing of one who slept. It was footsteps, crunching in the ice outside. They stopped for a moment, and the tent flap opened, granting entrance to both Ingoldo and a cold gust of air. His face was red with cold.
“How did it go?” he asked in a low voice as Ingoldo turned to secure the flap once more.
“As well as can be expected.”

Galadriel could never have been expected to take the news of Finrod's death well.

Two members of the crew of the starship Vérië land on the planet Andúnië, investigating a location of interest called The Sleeping Garden.

After Ancalagon is cast down Eärendil seeks out his sons and Elrond grapples with the feelings the meeting brings.

Ailinel, orphan of Numenor, is one of the poor girls dowered by Tar-Ciryatan and titled a "King's Daughter", encouraged to sail East to his colonies and find herself a husband.

It doesn't take her that long.

But even after she and Shipman Gaerondur find love, life in the colony isn't easy.
