Like a Dream Come True by chrissystriped

Fëanáro looked at the Vala whose silver hair had a slight lavender hue in the light of Telperion. He was wearing a necklace of silver birds – nightingales. Fëanáro smiled, he’d made that for him. The fire of his anger at the decision the Valar had made in regard to his mother and father still simmered in his breast, but he’d learned a lot of smithcraft from Mahtan Aulendil and even Aulë himself, and Irmo had always been a friend to him.

A story of Feanor's and Irmo's relationship before and after his death. Also a story of how even the Valar have to rethink their rulings sometimes.

Stars, hide your fires by Lyra, Independence1776, Fernstrike, Raiyana

All things in Arda are filled with Song, and each Song is a story - even for that which does not seem to have its own voice. This is the tale of one such thing; of a smith, a dwarf, and a bowman, and the fallen star that sang its way through their histories.

The Silmarillion TV Series by AndyC

"Try your hand at a form of fanwork you have not done before"

It has been said that the Silmarillion is unfilmable.  That's probably true - but could it be made into a TV series as per Game of Thrones? (With, hopefully, a better ending).

This will (I hope) contain the suggested scripts for episodes of various seasons of a Silmarillion TV series.

infin che 'l mar fu sovra noi richiuso by Feanoriel

Tales and rumours arose along the shores of the sea concerning mariners and men forlorn upon the water who, by some fate or grace or favour of the Valar, had entered in upon the Straight Way and seen the face of the world sink below them, and so had come to the lamplit quays of Avallónë, or verily to the last beaches on the margin of Aman, and there had looked upon the White Mountain, dreadful and beautiful, before they died. --- J.R.R.Tolkien, The Silmarillion

A collection of stories about the Fall of Númenor.

Letters Home from the War by bunn

Letters between Elemmírë, the great poet-singer of the Vanyar and Amárië, beloved of Finrod, and between Ingwion, Captain of the Vanyar Host in the War of Wrath, and his father Ingwë, High King of the Elves.

With the odd intrusion from Finrod, because Finrod likes to turn up uninvited and just start doing his thing.  Written for Narya-flame as a gift for Worldbuilding Exchange 2019

The land of Beeches and Snowdrops by Raiyana

After the sacking of Doriath, the lands once girdled by Melian were abandoned.

Faerbraichon, Lord of House Brethil, went east in search of a new land for his Sindar Elves, a land far removed from the grief caused by the Silmaril Thingol had coveted. With him came his family - those who were left - and those for whom he was Lord.

Running into a Dragon was an unexpected complication.

But for one of his sons, it might turn out to be the source of new love, and for the rest of House Brethil, the meeting between their youngest Prince and a Woodland elleth will eventually lead to the formation of the largest Elven Kingdom in Arda and the establishment of a new home.

The Great Green-Wood.
