This is a not-so-classic tale of \"Orc boy meets Elf girl\", which proves once and for all that having the Dark Lord as your third bed-partner is NOT a good idea. One does not simply walk into Mordor... or anywhere near it. This is a very dark tale, as tales set under the Eye are wont to be. For Darkness taints all it touches, but without it the little glimmers of Light would not be as powerful.

This series contains scenes from the life of Feredwen, an original character who served the House of Fëanor. I reorder the series when I add something new to keep the sequence approximately chronological, but individual parts skip around in time so that isn\'t always possible.

Main verse for my fanfiction, especially the tales told from the POV of the elves. Stretches from the days of Cuiviénen to (one day) the Dagor Dagorath.

Spanning the First to Fourth Age, the life of Thranduil Oropherion, King of the Woodelves and Slayer of a Dragon.

My tales mostly follow book canon with smatterings of the Peter Jackson movies, most notably in Thranduil having fought a Dragon in his youth and having the scars to prove it.

The series consists, at the moment, of the two main stories about Thranduil, The Wrath of Dragon Fire and The King of the Forest. The third story, Midwinter in Eryn Galen , centers around a young Aragorn visting Thranduil\'s Halls for the first time, and Legolas.

For obvious reasons, only The Wrath of Dragon Fire has been posted at the SWG; you can find he other stories on the Archive of Our Own.

1. The Wrath of Dragon fire : late First and early Second Age, Thranduil/Gildor, written for MSV 2014. A tale about Thranduil\'s youth in Beleriand and first love.

2. Midwinter in Eryn Galen : late Third Age, Aragorn/Legolas, written for LotR SeSa 2014. A young Aragorn comes to the Greenwood for the first time to see the home of his friend Legolas, also hoping for another first to happen.

3. The King of the Forest : late Third Age, about two decades earler than Midwinter in Eryn Galen , Thranduil/Celeborn, written for MSV 2015. After the Battle of the Five Armies, Thranduil nearly breaks in dealing with the aftermath of their losses at the battle.

4. The Best Night of my Life: a little ficlet taking place after The Wrath of Dragon Fire, written for the International Day of Slash Tarot Challenge at the Library of Moria.

About the war between Sauron and the elves, the hiding of the rings of power, and the appeal to Númenor for aid. And wherever else it decides to to go next.

Two stories from my Silmarillion space AU. 

Sometime in the winter of 2012 when I was home for the holidays, I picked up the Silmarillion again and fell down the rabbit hole. I ended up having a very vivid dream about the origins of Sauron/Mairon the Maiar, and his time spent in the service of Aulë the Smith. The first six pages were completed over the course of 2013; my goal was to preserve some of that original dream-material into a comic, but I also wanted to explore some of the empty margins in the history of these characters, simply because there was a lot about Middle Earth theology that frustrated me a great deal; and I felt like the motivations of a lot of the \'dark\' characters were not explored in the books to my satisfaction.

I realize now that \"Re-exploring\" the dark side of Tolkien\'s mythos is a fairly common pursuit of Silm fans, and Sauron and Melkor have both been re-imagined, justified, explained, deconstructed, and reconstructed by many more capable brains than mine long before I ever cracked open the first pages.

But it\'s too late for me now-- the dark lords have firmly rooted themselves in my brain and demand that I keep exploring their motivations and their relationships, and I\'ve become addicted to drawing their stupid faces (and other parts). 

That said: here are the much-edited first six pages of my first Silmarillion-related project, that first got my foot in the door of the fandom.

The first drafts were posted in 2013, and I\'ve polished and fluffed them up a bit since then, because I have chronic editing syndrome.  

I try not to inflict my poetry on strangers but sometimes it gets off the leash anyway.

How does one bear scars?

That all depends on who you are and how you earned them. Through an ever-growing number of standalones, the Flawless universe explores the relationships of Fingon and Maedhros, Gil-galad and Glorfindel, and Elrond and Celebrian in the context of the events in the Silmarillion. 

For consistency\'s sake, the narrative uses Sindarin names. Please see individual stories for warnings and ratings, but you\'ll be pretty safe if you assume an overall R-rating and plenty of slash.

Note: Flawless originally started off, some years ago, as a story of Glorfindel\'s rebirth in Lindon in mid-Second Age. It\'s now in the process of serious revision, so please suspend all disbelief if you ever read it in its first life and treat it as an entirely new being.
