Tolkien's titles range from epic to lyrical to metaphorical. This month's challenge selected 125 of them as prompts for fanworks.

Written for Theatrical Muse. The famed Dragon Helm of Dor-Lomin comes into Maedhros's posession. And he can't wait to get rid of it.

After the Battle of Sirion, the children Elured and Elurin are taken to the forest and abandoned. The guilt weighs heavy on Maedhros, and he cannot rest until he finds them.
Rated teens for general mature themes, and for violence. Character deaths: those of Celegorm, Caranthir and Curufin are referred to and the deaths of Elured and Elurin implied.

The Feanorian version of the Silmarillion.

Amrod and Amras go to the Havens of Sirion. Morgoth attacks. They help fight against Morgoth and save Elros and Elrond.

An adolescent Celebrimbor, while on a hunting trip with his uncles, encounters a young Moriquende and learns that the customs of the Elves of Aman are not as universal as he was taught they were. WARNING: Explicit sex, Not Safe For Work.

Amrod and Amras get a lesson in map-reading (both physical and political) from Maedhros. Written for the "Fanon Inverted" Silmarillion Writers' Guild Challenge, taking on the "twins as pranksters" fanon convention.

Fingon has successfully brought Maedhros back from Thangorodrim. In some ways, that rescue was the easy part.

After his rescue, Maedhros has a decision to make. Which will he sacrifice in the end: his pride, or his vengeance?

Young Amrod and Amras have gone missing, and the reason for their disappearance can be traced to a family tragedy. Warning: Adult sexual themes.

Wounded in body and spirit by Morgoth, a now-crippled Maedhros struggles to redefine his sense of identity. Warning: Mildly disturbing themes.

Set after the battle of Unnumbered Tears, the life of Caranthir till his death during the sack of Doriath

Boys will be boys and the middle Feanorian brothers take it a step too far.

When he finds that he is not the son of Dior, his friend is killed and Fëanor’s sons attack his home of Doriath, the darker side of Neithan is revealed and he begins to search for what he wants.
