About Me
Like many Tolkien fans, I discovered his work through Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films and solidified my fan status after reading the books. I founded the Silmarillion Writers' Guild in 2005 and, over the past decade-plus, have worked to grow the community as a place for Tolkien fans to gather, share fanworks, and discuss his work.
Please don't hesitate to reach out using the contact form above or by emailing the moderator address.
While I still write fiction from time to time, most of my efforts these days are oriented toward research in Tolkien and fandom studies. If you're interested in my research, you can follow my Substack Tolkien by the Numbers and find my nonfiction work on my website DawnFelagund.com.
I welcome fanworks (art, podfic, translations, etc.) based on my fanworks. This is me giving you permission to do it; you don't need to ask. Please link to the work you're using (here, please, not AO3) and credit me as Dawn Felagund.
